Level One Diagnostic Services
Sono Care of East Texas offers Level One diagnostic Ultrasound services. We provide our services to many expectant families desiring to complete their ultrasound in a more family-centered, patient-focused environment. We offer complimentary images of your session, as well as a cd and dvd of the entire examination sneak a peak in 3D/4D  and as always gender determination is by request only. When spending your money for a diagnostic fetal ultrasound, you will no longer be rushed through the procedure. And, the fee for an exam at Sono Care is over 50 percent less than the common cost of an obstetric sonogram at other institutions in the East Texas area. Sono Care employs only registered diagnostic sonographers. Once the diagnostic ultrasound is complete the reports of all findings are forwarded to our Radiologist and the report is faxed to the patient's physician, midwife, or clinic overseeing the pregnancy that day. We accept most insurances including medicare and soon medicaid. . Our prices included the Radology fee.
OB Services
1st Trimester Fetal viabilty and dates 6-12weeks ($160.00)                                                              This is to check viability and dates in the 1st trimester.
Nuchal Translucency Screen: 11-13 + 6 days scan ($160.00)                                    This prenatal test can help your practitioner assess your baby's risk of having Down Syndrome (DS) and some other chromosomal abnormalities (Trisomy 18 or Trisomy 13) as well as major congenital heart problems
Fetal Anatomy Screening with Fetal Measurements ($200.00.)
This is a very thorough scan to check the baby's 4 chamber heart, brain, spine, bowel, kidneys, bladder, 3V cord, cord insertion and limbs to detect any abnormalities. This can never completely guarantee that the baby will be normal but it gives very strong reassurance. We also check the placenta,and amniotic fluid. If requested the sex is determined on this scan.
Biophysical Profiles ($150 )This is a GREAT tool to check for fetal well being. We will check for fetal movement, breathing, flexsion, heart acceleration, and amniotic fluid.
Cervical Length Check ($50)                                                                                                                             Prep: 32 oz of water 30 min proir to the exam
If you are at risk of premature birth then we can scan to assess the length of the uterine cervix. This can be done at any stage from 16 weeks but is most useful at 18 - 21 weeks of pregnancy with a full bladder.

Abdomen Ultrasound Complete 76700                                                                                                  Prep: Nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day before th exam.                                                      Images of the Spleen, Rt and Lt Kidneys, Pancreas, Aorta, Liver,Gall Bladder, Common bile duct, and bladder are obtained and we send the image to the radiologist to be read.  A report is sent to your physician that day.
Renal/Retroperitoneal Us complete 76775:                                                                                        Prep: Nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day before the exam.                                       Acoustic gel is applied to the abdomen Images of the Right and left Kidneys and bladder  are obtained and we send the image to the radiologist to be read.  A report is sent to your physician that day.
Retroperitoneal AA ultrasound 76775:                                                                                                 Prep: Nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day before the exam.                                             Acoustic gel is applied to the abdomen.  Images of of the Aorta are taken in longitudinal and transverse. This exam is to r/o Aortic aneurysm which could lead to death.  Images are obtained and sent to the radiologist and a report is sent to you doctor that day.
Thyroid US 76536                                                                                                                                       Prep: None                                                                                                                                              Thyroid ultrasound is used to identify any type of cyst or solid nodules in the thyroid gland.  The thyroid ultrasound involves the use of an acoustic gel and ultrasound transducer. The transducer is moved around the neck over the thyroid gland below the "Adams Apple". If nodules are present, they are measured and sent to the radiologist to be read.  A report is sent to your Physician.
Testicular/scrotal US 93975/76870                                                                                                                   Prep: None                                                                                                                                                           Warm accustic gel is placed on the scotal region.  Images of the teste and epiditimis or obtained.  Color flow dopper is performed to r/o torsion and masses.  Any cyst or solid areas are measured.  Images are sent to the radologist to be read. Pelvic Ultrasound 76856                                                                                                                         Prep: Drink 32 oz of water 30 minutes prior to the examination.                                                Images of the Uterus and Ovaries and endometrial canal are obtained. Transvaginal Ultrasound 76830                                                                                                             Prep: Empty bladder.                                                                                                                                        A Probe is inserted a small ways into the vagina and images are obtained of the uterus, ovaries and endometrial canal are obtained. Any cyst or solid areas are measured. Images are sent to the radiologist and a report is sent to your doctor that day.

Arterial Ankle Brachial Index 93922                                                                                                 Blood pressure is taken in the Rt and lt upper extremities and also in the rt and lt lower extremities. Blood pressures should be the same. If there is a drop then we know that there is good indication of have arterial occlusive disease in the lower extremities.

And Lt lower extremities.
